putting an engine to gold is unwise, and tacking a propeller to platinum is not exactly agile.

when it comes to boats, i am strictly a social imbiber of "hole in the water" by way of friendship and charter, mostly just tag along to get along in exchange for wit, acumen and good food brought on board (so i have to mostly count on the food).

in the mean time we are cozying ...

and teaching jack how to wash - he gets upset whenever to get out of the water.
we are to check out one of 7 most scenic villages this day.

p.s. the new si functionalities are neat and convenient

hello hm, today's report:

(i) i am sure on silver going to and passing 50, but unsure on timing.

just bought
- 'last' wallop of paper silver at hkd 317.9 (usd 40.86)
- 'last' wallop of paper platinum at hkd 14,027.4 (usd 1,803)

all as part of this full-spectrum all-services combined arms campaign
Message 27464707 (2011 06 30)
Message 27476241 (2011 07 07)
Message 27491321 (2011 07 14)
Message 27499411 (2011 07 18)

(ii) am now in full favor my african kin, miners and electricity generation proletariats, to rise against their oppressors and shut down the platinum mines,

am cheering on my chinese kin to vote with their rmb for silver per their monetary heritage, savings tradition, and trading legacy, and

am cheering on my euro kin to double dose platinum catalyst in diesel cars.

(iii) would say am now very high the three essential speculation minerals au / pt / ag, akin to milk, veggies / meats, or beer / chips / pizza, or girls / girls / girls, and basically at high-conviction full allocation.

am holding fire on paper metals, unless and until accident cripples the metals ala lehman crisis 2008.

may do some more option trades on the mining etf n mining shares.

am still fearing that am not high-enough gold and silver

still have capacity, but if used would not be able to handle a lehman-esque puking event.

also have facility to leverage as and when, but overly high conviction at times painful, other times fatal, and day-by-day bad for psychology.

(iv) all eyes on team usa, "just do it".

cheers, tj

Hello hm, today's report

Bought
- nly @ 17.41
- paas @ 30.30
- mcd @ 86.00

Because we are back to usual business of fiat money inflation, resulting in steepening yield curve, higher silver price, and more folks eating at mcdonalds in USA and prc.

I understood today the Europe supposedly suffered a flash crash on the Dax, but cannot say it mattered to the party at a neighboring house where we were served pigeons, pork, rabbits, ... All seemed fine.

Cheers, tj
