Aristotle said: “The entire purpose of education is to imbue the basic virtues in children so that they can live happy successful lives when they grow up.” Aristotle taught: “Only The Good Can Be Happy And Succeed – And Only The Virtuous Can Be Good.”

Here are the seven virtues that schools taught during Aristotle's time in the year 400 BC:

Integrity
Honesty
Compassion
Friendship
Responsibility
Kindness
Gentleness

If school-children today were educated in these virtues and had teachers who taught and cared about the kids, we would have generations of truly whole and wholesome citizens and this country would have a chance...instead in public schools we suffer the liberal tripe of doing away with the arts but teach how to use a condom, cross dressing day in some schools, "gay appreciation day" in some schools, they removed all competition, everyone gets an A so no one's feelings are hurt... I could go on...

We should cut all public education and end the gravy train for those greedy fake teachers and fat school administrators...

It is an insurance plan.

(Backed by the government that stands behind it.)

I don't think that anyone should think of it as any kind of an "investment" program. Investment programs are always directly subject to market risk. The risks for SS are almost entirely of a different kind.
