I believe Obama lost this when he caved in Dec. I think he caved in Dec cuz he got rolled on health care. I think he got rolled on health care cuz he lost the negotiations he had with himself on the stimulus plan.

So yeah, I blame Obama.

I think Obama was the ONLY (D) in a position to change the dynamic so that the end result was at least FAIR. He totally failed.

I've seen a (D) president WIN these things. Bill Clinton LET the (R)'s shut down the government. The country blamed THEM, Newt lost all power, and the country was better for it.
