LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 1997--Optima Technology, a leading provider of storage solutions, Tuesday announced that it is shipping GigaBank RAID solution supporting both Fibre Channel-Arbitrated Loop and Wide Ultra SCSI. GigaBank RAID subsystems address the needs of data-intensive, mission-critical network systems, providing capacity, performance, reliability and flexibility for network servers, print-on-demand applications and other digital working environments. Combined with SCSI Inspector, Optima's proprietary configuration and monitoring software, GigaBank is among the most power solutions for fault-tolerant storage. SCSI Inspector can monitor drives both locally, and from a remote location using Windows networking. It also reports power supply, fan failures and over-heating conditions.
