Well, I can't say I know anything about the company. But they have traded as high as 17 3/4 in the last year, which says something. The price does seem high; however, if they've got stuff you want ....

Another issue is that .89 shares of Borland early in 98 could be a lot more money than it is today...

It puts BORL in the area Del wants to go,
check out the VSGN thread. Company has talent, salesforce and experience in the enterprise area. A lot of people like VSGN. The price being paid does not look that bad when you look at the run-up in BORL and the run-down of VSGN and realize that this deal must have been cut a little while ago. I think I also read that the VSGN management owns a lot of of stock (a good sign).
