Good Grief, BORL bought a company that uses "CORBA", so much for embracing Microsofts standards and not fighting against them. Hopefully WallStreet won't have enough technical knowledge to figure out what they have just done. This is the second company this year that I have owned that was on the virge of a major breakout and then screwed up everything by announcing a takeover.

I am glad I've held my positions in BORL at 12!

Was wondering how they were going to get into the
enterprise market. VisiBroker is a first class ORB
which has rapidly become the de facto standard for
distributed object. This will really make serious
developers look at Borland tools.

This also put Borland into a vast web of alliances.
