JXM didn't make it to Grass Lake or the other lakes he was hoping to get to. It's a very steep trail. Looking at Google Earth, he's on the side of a very steep cliff with a trail of switch backs. I'm gonna guess he had to pitch his tent right on the trail. He'll have all day tomorrow to get to one of the lakes. I hope to see some movement early in the morning.

Smithee didn't end up going over the Flowery Trail on his way north after all.

Oh yes I did.

When I get a bit more time, I'll have to post a bit (and some pics) about Toad Rock Motorcycle CG, north of Nelson. I thought I was back in 1969.
