You see eliminating the government preference for religion as "intolerance". What you are actually seeing is neutrality- and you perceive neutrality as suppression. There's nowhere to go with that kind of thinking. You think your religion is so weak you need to have folks owning the governmental machinery to perpetuate it? Get a clue. The US is one of the most religious countries there is, and it's dominantly Christian- by a huge margin. You don't need to force folks to listen to folks pray to your Jesus- or maybe you feel you do, but you need to realize that what you want is intolerance. Forced neutrality is still, in the end, just neutral- it's not advocacy, except of neutrality. I guess I understand why that might bother you, but I'm not sympathetic.
