This morning's TV channels are rife with commentary of what an indictment of tea party politics this SP downgrade really is...even with its errors and overall inconsistencies...some of the best commentary was delivered by mayor bloomberg on morning joe...i will see if I can find the video a little later.

Without the TP we would not even be CONSIDERING cuts in the rate of growth of spending. Thus, any commentary as you suggest is idiotic.

The same TV channels you worship had the Tea Party advocates on calling for spending cuts... since their election in 2010. Had those cuts, or even the Simpson Bowles plan that Obama enabled, the downgrade would not have occurred.

And now the dems blame the only group that made the correct call instead of taking responsibility for their lack of economic leadership.

You and teddy are so easily swayed that you post this dem talking point crap without understanding your own gullibility.

How fn pathetic that our nation has fools like you gobbling up the snake oil.

Really pathetic. Shoot the messenger mode. They're even attacking the S&P, comparing their downgrade to the "Catholic Church lecturing scout leaders on the proper behavior toward boys":

curiouscapitalist.blogs.time.com

Blame the S&P, blame the Tea Party, blame Congress, blame everything except ever-expanding government. Oh yeah, and don't forget to absolve Obama, except for his "fault" of not taking on the Republicans more forcefully.

Can't be any more about "ideology" than that ...

Bonehead can't get his own caucus in order and yet, he thinks he can comment on reports of national significance. Making matters worse, the dude's analytical abilities leave a lot to be desired.

It took an S&P downgrade for the powers and pundits to recognize what a disaster the teapers are and how bad they are for the country. Leave it to the Rs to overstep big time.........and now its on to WI.
