If "revenue" is the problem, why did Obama and the Pelosi-Reid Congress not raise taxes 8 months ago?

But the so called Bush tax "cuts" saw a $400 Billion increase in tax revenue over the next four years. Real tax revenue growth.

It increased revenue from more taxes being collected in TOTAL. (GDP growth)

Look at Federal receipts in 2003 (Bush tax cuts passed) in constant 2005 dollars: $1.9 trillion.

Then look at 2008 (the last budget that President Bush signed) also in constant 2005 dollars: $2.3 trillion.

This is what lefties just don't get...or won't admit.

You can look at the numbers here yourself...
