And here is another silver ray "of hope". I do not know what to ascribe this downtrend in the US to. I suppose it is a combination of the 9/11 attack, the ascendancy of a belligerent WH with Bush Jr. with the Iraq and Afghan wars, blowing the Clinton surplus to fight the wars, this nation is finding it difficult to stand up on its feet. And to add insult to injury, the folks who tout themselves as desiring to rebuild this nation, fight and bicker like kids when they reach DC. They forget that we are a diverse nation with people having all sorts of views and that there needs to be accommodation necessitating a slower progress towards the ultimate goal.
