Was he "all in" before that? 50:50? 100% cash? How do you know he wasn't calling "All In" just like he did in 2007 at the very top with a gift horse followed by many more "all in" buys until he was finally right?

I was All in since I started working in 1979 full time and put every spare dollar I could into stocks and real estate... I didn't hear of Brinker until the 1990s and thought the name of his newsletter, Marketimer, was a joke since he gave the impression he had been fully invested since 1982. (ie the only way to time the market is to not time the market)

Once I started to write about investing, someone sent me PROOF that Brinker went to 100% cash AFTER the 1987 bear market. He didn't get back to fully invested until the small bear market in 1991.

He didn't make that under performance from rotten timing up until AFTER ignoring his QQQ advice in his model portfolios.... and counting that QQQ money twice.

Some of you will always drink the tainted Kool-Aid no matter how many trips you take to the emergency room to have your stomachs pumped.... -g-
