RE: Prez election

Several thoughts:

1) I echo Commander who fears opening Pandora's Box by continuing the Prez election discussion,

2) I have to wonder why in this internet age we start the campaign anytime before Labor Day 2012 - am sick of it already,

3) I wouldn't discount at all the people returning to common sense about the government - Fed - debt, etc. Stated differently, the Ron Paul message will carry enormous weight. Will Paul win the big race? I don't even want to discuss it.

4) Markets will tank if business as usual continues (somebody Romney or Obama like). Markets were flat when the alternative (Paul Volker - fiscal discipline) was introduced at the end of the Carter admin and into Reagan. Then it took off. Bonds got pasted.

So. I think I have already said too much. Will not continue discussion. Forgive.

Ummm... OT but a little bit of ribbing is in order more so in response to your post Big Dog. <g>

4. Markets soar when it starts to look like Perry will be the next Prez.

Take it to the bank, so sayeth the Dog.

Markets are going to be sullen, with Turkey perhaps willing to put a strangle hold on pipelines through it's territory under Perry future presidency <g>

I hope you don't ban me for more than a couple of days for this blasphemy <vbg>
