I don't consider a 20% drop a bear market. 1987 was not a bear market it was a correction (IMO). I think a bear market has to last for more than 1 year to really scare people. With the bond rate and inflation rate tame I don't think we're going to see a full-fledged bear market anytime soon. I don't dispute we could have a 20%+ correction. However, I think it's more likely we'll be in a 7200-8500 trading range or enter yet another bull swing around Dec-Jan.

Take your profits in either direction...

I'm heavy short and long at this point. I think YHOO and LCOS are shaping into excellent shorts while I think most of the oil-drilling stocks are oversold.
