Brenda,

It depends on the size of the position removed and shorted. In other words, your position being larger than mine will make a much larger impact than if mine were removed. Hypothetically, if 5% of the float were removed from the market accessibility when the brokers are searching for shares to borrow, you can bet that there will be some frantic scrambling for available shares and the impact will be greater than 5%. That will happen quickly but it will be on the time frame relating to rules governing the covering process. We should see the impact soon.

Brenda,
Although I would be the last one to ever give ANYONE any advice in the stock market, I must say we must think alike! I ALWAYS call my certs on anything held long. I can really see no benefit to anyone but a shorter to have my certificates held in-house! I have a lot of links to post regarding the fine art of shorting, but please realize that I have no reason to believe that ANYONE is shorting OZON. I only know that if they were and if shares to short against were to become harder to find the shorters would suddenly find themselves in an uncomfortable position to say the least. I will post some links later when I have more time but here is one of my faves for now regarding some extremes. Please don't think that I am drawing any analogy to OZON shares, this link is for educational purposes only...
