Obama's style has always been "Let's find common ground".. That is ill suited to an environment...

I have no problem with finding common ground with someone who disagrees with you. That's what we
all do in life - because very few of us think alike across the broad spectrum of issues. But what concerns
me is that Obama doesn't seem to get that this approach is "ill suited" to the environment he is in now.
Either he is not learning, which means he's a lot dumber or stubborn than any of us realize, or he fundamentally
doesn't understand who his true enemies are - which also doesn't bode very well. He seems to get weaker with
each confrontation, not stronger. Why would you want to support that type of dynamic for another 4 years?

The part that people don't understand of why I don't want to see Obama in there for another 4 years, is
that I view the situation similar to a manager and his boxer. I have a lot of fondness for him still, as a person.
However if I put myself in the position as his "manager", I am watching him being punished and bloodied in
the ring. Whether he is overmatched, or his style is all wrong for the fighter he is facing - when the issues come
up that I care about the most, he is getting beaten badly consistently. How often do you keep sending someone
like that back in round after round? Obama, and the progessive cause right along with him, has taken an
beating the last 3 years from the right-wing. For his own sake, and mine, I don't want to see that go on for
another 4.
