Yeah tell me about it. Appears HP waite way too long to try and get a piece of the tablet market with their own OS. They should have just gone with Android that has 45% of the market.

Blowing 1.2B on the old Palm OS and waiting a year or two until trying to hoist it out.

Today, HP's core business id printers and supplies. They tried to buy their way into servers and computers with the acquisition of Compaq etc. But they lacked vision since they were a component company to begin with. Calculators and electrical measuring devices such as meters etc. may be considered as components in the real high tech sense.

So I think HP is planning to go back to its roots.
