Oh thats no problem. The Federal government will bail out the banks or at the very least backstop the debt in the name of continued 'higher education',gg.
The bankers will being singing ring around the rosy while the rest of us have too contend with a two year note at near zero.
Some think the reason for the Fed keeping rates steady for the next two years is to force those looking for better Rates to go long these markets and or chase a Divy.
The Fed is in a self imposed box with four walls. It has little room left to manipulate. QEIII is whatever they can come with that will in the end have little impact on paying the piper. Lets face it, we are in debt up to our arses and pay back is a bitch.

Wow that is huge except for one problem with regards to it hurting U.S. banks. The Federal Govt Guarantees all of those loans for the Banks, so the Banks don't lose a dime. The U.S. taxpayer, once again, has to pay up. The good news is you cannot declare bankruptcy to discharge unpaid student loans. The Feds will however take a loss while various collection agencies attempt to get the money one way or another through garnishment and judgements. Collection agencies will make a lot of money off of it.
