Too many possibilities and opinions to consider them all. For now I am happy with my PHYS position and will take my future cues from the markets.

From what I understand about 1979 - January 1980, gold stocks did not come along for that ride but rallied sharply on the 2nd surge into the 700's later in 1980. I can't find an XAU chart for that period.

10k within the next 5 years is the continuation of the bull move as I see it -- but at major numbers the talk with continue to be very bearish with loads of rubbish about how overpriced and risky gold has become. In my view Treasuries have become very risky -- how ironic.
