OTOTOT**I can't believe how many times I've heard that about the Chambers keynote.
Guess I gotta go take a listen.

Never did get my RMBS. I had a buy order in, but ended up spending most of my bucks on DELL at $70 and ASMLF at $64. Sold 'em both yesterday for 15pt's each. Started rebuying them today.
Not bad for a couple days "work". ;-)

Still accumulating the semi-equip test guys too.
Reasons? Glad you asked.<G>
1. switch to .25mu.
2. switch from aluminum to copper.
3. need for higher production numbers to continue making a buck.(DRAMS in particular)
4. switch to 12 inch wafers.
5. increased batches of chips actually being tested and at more stages of the process. (again to increase production)

--->All the above would indicate a STRONG need for test equipment.
AND:

6. Asia affects the inspection/test group MUCH less than the overall semi-equip sector.
7. Technically they look like they've FINALLY made a bottom to buy/trade off from.

My faves? TER, EGLS, KLA-Tencor and CMOS.

BTW-one of the highlights of the HWP earnings report was in the test equip part of the company.

inre RACE. So you "rebought", eh? You got out with good profits from your original play of a year ago didn't you?
