>>>Apple and Amiga introduced GUI computing to a NICHE market.<<<

A classic case of Reg changing the subject when proven flat wrong.

Now we are talking about niche marketing, not the geniuses of Redmond who were the first ones to understand the GUI?

To laugh Reg. To laugh.

I'm right, and you are so far out in space I don't know why we spend all that money on satellites. We could just ask you for snapshots. ;-)

Your friend,
Chaz

but did not understand how to market the GUI to the masses. MSFT did.

Reg,

You are quite the Definition. MS used Apple to market the GUI to the masses. In 1985, the IBM AT was an admin tool to do charts for the Dilbert bosses. By 1989, the Mac had moved the tool into the bosses cubicle, but MS was feeding them their crack. Word for the Mac.

I will agree with you that part of their success is because their compitition were filled with soda pop salesman and #0's.
