Yes they are, I have never tried to access court records that way though as I am not aware that they are on the computer. Are they?

Tonto: You may want to look into Lexus/Nexus. If you have a good relationship with your lawyer they may have access to this service which has notations on literally millions of law suits, civil and criminal, convictions, bankruptcies etc. If your lawyer does not he may be able to access the information you seek through a colleague.
