It really wasn't that difficult a question was it? Why are you so reluctant to answer it? "does it comport with your intuition and experience that contingent things do not need a cause and that things come into being from nothing?" You seem to be evading the answer by insinuating that mater is eternal. Do you have any scientific evidence that the universe is eternal? That seems to be an outmoded and scientifically unsupported view.
