Totally agree, Paul....We can talk till the cows come home (so to speak) on all sorts of social issues, BUT if we don't get our Financial and Economic house in order, we may all be sitting by campfires, sleeping in sleeping bags, with no jobs, no money, no interest in any account, and if we're lucky, finding some space to grow our own food..... Hang the social issues till we get the economy fixed. All else are just talking points that we are likely to continue hearing from a group of folks that have nothing to point to that they have accomplished in the last few years. Well, some could say they have accomplished the mayhem they set out to accomplish. "Social issues will be going back and forth in the wind forever but, IMO, the fiscal issues need to be fixed quickly - the fiscal fix can not be delayed while we haggle over civil unions or the words of the pledge to the flag until the next election in 2016. "
