it isn't an issue I want the government deciding. LET ME DECIDE MY MORALITY. Absolutely Steve, and you are a man after my own heart. For me, Roe v Wade isn't about abortion as much as it is about the over reach of the federal govt. That is why I advocate reversing Roe v Wade. And because I believe we do need some government in our lives, leave the question up to the individual states. Once you start pushing your beliefs into the government - then who decides? I think the way our society is structured is good and "the government" is us. Our only option is to support and vote for candidates who come closest to our beliefs. There's that word again - "Liberal". What a bunch of crap! What should I call people with political viewpoints with which I disagree? I prefer to call them Liberals and myself a Conservative. I guess I need to include Libertarians too! I have to run out now, and thank you for the conversation. I think this thread just might tear down some walls.
