I'm not sure why you write that since nobody has been pushing "God" stuff, they have been saying the opposite - that various views are possible regardless of what a person's religious beliefs may be.

I think there is a difference between mainstream and neutral. Nobody is really neutral unless neutral means willing to have polite conversations. To me, mainstream refers to a very broad group of people - perhaps the middle 60% of the population.

I'm not real convinced his site is what he suggest - but I'm willing to give him a chance.

I am only a moderator and can not control everything that is put on a public board. I don't have a secret agenda other than to share views among people that are polite. I'm glad that you are willing to give it a chance and I am glad that YOU are a contributor here. If you are aware of polite people like yourself that are of what I will call mixed beliefs (not easily fitting into one category), feel free to invite them to participate.

I think this thread is going to allow people to be frank in a civil way, and might bring up points that haven't been discussed yet? I do not mean to sound rude, but not knowing who you are and not having spent any time conversing with you on the Internet, your post sounds paranoid. Since there has never been a religious take over of the American govt, I do not know or understand what makes you feel that way?
