Why not talk about Perry? Obama is going to be the nomination - Perry only has a chance. It seems to be a chicken - kind of childish - argument when people dismiss the arguments about Perry because Obama does the same thing. Well for a very long time now - as it relates to economic issues - both parties seem to be joined at the hip.

I have had this joust with others from the Obama camp who lean hard to the left. My conclusion is that the true left thinks Obama is simply putting on a show as they believe he is as smart as they are and therefore thinks like they do. With this logic whatever religion moves Obama makes are simply for necessary show. For instance - they would excuse the years with Rev Wrong as they see those years as simply necessary to build street cred in Chicago. On the other hand they think a guy like Perry really believes what he says - even though he says much the same as Obama.

I personally chose not to judge Obama's sincerity or lack there of - only how I think the left views it.
