GM dealers lost their freedoms to sell GM cars. But mostly just republican car dealers. Boeing lost their freedom to move to South Carolina to do their business

For one HUGE thing, Ed.....the amount of debt piled up in just the last 2.5 years is staggering, and then add to it the debt from previous administrations....The freedom our children and grandchildren have will be greatly diminished because of such massive overspending....

I'm curious to know what you think Obama has done to take away our "freedom of choice"? What freedoms, what actions took them away? Ed Welcome to this board. I salute your willingness to leave the land of the protected left. Let me simply submit to you that Obama had - and may still have - an opportunity to be great. As Nixon went to China - Obama could have gone to entitlements. He assumed office at a time the nation was essentially broke - how we got there is a separate discussion - but the reality of his taking office is what it is. Rather than challenge greatness he simply turned the pigs loose and IMO has made a bad situation worse - far worse. Did he create the situation - NO. Has he helped the situation - NO. IMO he is the wrong man at the wrong time. Rather than fix the race to fiscal ruin he has stepped on the accelerator. Leaders deal with reality and lead. Losers simply wail about their fate and blame everyone but themselves for their situation. Obama never managed a damn thing in his life. He is not managing the United States of America. He was utterly unqualified to be president - and the results are exactly what one would expect.
