Looks like New Hampshire and Vermont got little hype going in. Got some of the worse flooding due to the orogenic lifting and subsequent rain. NY and NJ got most of the press (can't use hype here anymore. because they are the center of the media universe. Bernie Goldberg said the same thing the other night on O'Reilly. Called it was "New York Narcissism". Of course O'reilly disagreed because he's from NY. I can tell you if the same storm was heading for Texas, it wouldn't have got near the press.
