Paul, >>>A cheaper solution with better performance. Can Intel do both?<<<

Just reassure me that Intel with a R&D budget six times Cyrix total revs that I will not see Kurlak someday day say Intel was caught off guard by Cyrix's All-In-One approach and will be addressing analysts to discuss Intels answer to this unexpected competition.

I will shut up now. Thank you.

Mary

"Cyrix hasn't made any money yet with their MediaGX"

Well most certainly Compaq has, and that's all that counts.

Cyrix and Compaq have very skillfully exploited the very monopoly position that Intel proponents somehow think is going to mean gravy for their investments, namely the anti-trust suits that would ensue from any attempt by Intel to encorporate a graphics chip into their CPU architecture.

Cyrix doesn't have to live within those constraints because it isn't a monopoly.
