The key to the problem is that the free market does not work for health care. . I think that it is worthwhile to look at medical procedures that are not covered by insurance. This is an area that has a free market. Some examples would be LASIK surgery and cosmetic surgeries such as.....boob jobs. Without doing a formal study, I do know that LASIK surgery costs about 1/10th what it did 10 years ago. There are probably quite a few conclusions that can be drawn from this, but I think that it cannot be ignored.

I have heard from many old time doctors that the cost of health care start to go up when the gov got involved . Remember when a doctor would come to your house for 10 bucks
