This deal is for Taiwan only. If Maverick's information is accurate, we should hear more deals from mainland China, i.e., switches for several provinces.

To-Be-Announced ASND contracts, ongoing ones, and tidbits
1) TBA this 9704 qtr
China purchases 40 CBX 500's and 12 high-end CBX 900's ATM switches for 3
provinces.

2) NTT is installing 40 BSTDX 9000's FR and CBX 500's ATM switches.

3) TBA in 9801 qtr
AT&T WorldNet for a large number of CBX 500's and GX 550's over several qtrs.

4) TBA in 9801 qtr
An ISP in Germany contract for TNT's and GRF's.

5) TBA this 9704 qtr
PacBel purchases several thousand DSLTNT ports at $1,000/port and DSLPipes.

6) AT&T's telco side, PacBell, and LU have been evaluating GRF1600/400. Expect
some contract announcement in 9801.

7) LU has been a large ASND's VAR.

8) DSLTNT seems to be doing well.

9) ASND has pretty good mktg and sale force.

10) Support org. is contributing directly to the bottom line.

11) Mory mentioned he exercised options recently to thwart some possible hostile
takeover (According to SEC rule, there is a black-out period between exec. option
exercising and when the M&A takes place).
He half-jokingly, half-frankly told he might consider an offer for $100/shr.

12) CSCC is doing rather well leveraging ASND international channels and connections.
