Well, I hope Del stays around long enough to see thru this acquisition. It would be a shame if he leaves for a certain fruited company and leaves his successor to handle the complication.

Del's not going anywhere. If he had any intention to do so, he would not have shut Apple down so quickly a couple weeks ago.

At least there's a chance for a home run two years down the road.

It is entirely possible Borland will be trading at 12 again within a month or so. After all, the recent rise to 12 was not based on earnings, but on anticipated earnings. Why should things be any different now. I think it is obvious Del has done his homework here.

12 by yearend.

Haven't noticed David Miller around here today, but he seems to have called it last week over on the VSGN thread:

Reason #1. There are better times for this company just around the corner.

Reason #2. Someone who likes the techology and can give it a wider market, will buy it.

Obviously the options players just took a whack since they don't have a virtual horizon. The question is whether this will be immediately accretive to earnings, that was asked earlier but nobody has answered it. What good is this thread if nobody is willing to do the leg work for me and lay it all out on a silver platter? Do I have to visit the VSGN site myself for crying out loud? I am using the CD they sent me as a coaster, perhaps I'll drop a thank-you note for the lovely coaster while I'm there.
