You're a braver man than I am. Your thoughts on if and when Greece defaults what that could mean to financial system in Europe, and in particular for the main two solar markets in Germany and Italy? Could be a lot of spare supply with no home, how would the solar players deal with that financially?

Well, you are a braver man than me. It is tempting to buy some TSL or JKS down here, but I then hear Zeev Hed's voice repeating "New lows beget new lows," and I still resist. I would rather see them base for at least a few days without making a new low, even if thereby I miss the first 10% rebound. My guess is that after that rebound, the stocks will retest the low (whatever that turns out to be--I have no idea at this point), and I will try to muster the courage to enter then. Especially if it is in late Oct or sometime in Nov, when I am guessing that a fair bit of tax loss selling will be taking place.

JM(very)HO.

Jacob would not these stocks have a high beta to an economic recovery ... not necessarily the general stock market...

Bought more JKS at $10.55; it's down over 10% today, on no specific news. An amazingly volatile stock, which the market doesn't seem to have any idea how to value. Last year, the IPO was at $11, and the high was $42. It's being priced for bankruptcy, but it has the second-highest gross margins in the business, and the highest for c-Si companies. EPS was $6.62 last year, and revenues will double from 2010 to 2011.
