Neil Woodyer stated: "We continue to be very encouraged by the results at Agbaou, and I am pleased to see this additional potential being developed. Any additions to reserves that may arise from this latest round of work can only serve to enhance the project." Infill drill program The 7,000-metre infill portion of the drilling program at the Agbaou feasibility-stage project in Cote d'Ivoire was completed in August, 2011, and all results have now been received. A total of 63 holes were drilled in the main deposit and 22 holes were drilled in the south deposit. The results have consistently demonstrated continuity of grades and widths and confirmed the quality and interpretation of the mineralized zones within the deposits. Intersections include 10 metres at 10.90 grams per tonne gold and 12 metres at 7.51 g/t gold. Additional highlights with true widths are provided in a table. The results will reduce the spacing down to 60 metres by 180 metres of the south deposit. The area of infill drilling represents approximately 38 per cent of the deposit area. These additional data will be the basis for a revised resource estimate planned to improve classification of portions of the mineral resource from indicated to measured. Condemnation/exploration drill program The condemnation/exploration program resumed in August, 2011, and a second drill rig was added to expedite the program, which was completed in late August, 2011. A total of 12,914 metres in 250 holes were completed, and assays have been reported for 60 per cent of the program. Initial results from this program had outlined six targets for further investigation (news release dated Aug. 3, 2011). The most recent reverse circulation drill results combined with a review of 2010 RAB drilling have identified four additional targets for further drilling. New RC drilling results include 14 metres at 2.69 grams per tonne gold, and 22 metres at 3.66 g/t gold including two metres at 14.05 g/t gold. Additional highlights are provided in a table. The RAB drilling results from 2010 were reviewed in light of the positive RC drilling and were used to highlight other areas that warrant further drilling. Results include six metres at 1.04 g/t gold. Additional highlights are provided in a table. This prompted Endeavour to allocate an additional $800,000 (U.S.) budget to complete an additional 9,500 metres of RC drilling to further test these targets. This additional drilling is being completed in two phases. Phase one is a series of fences of holes that flank these targets and provide 100-metre spacing between intersections, which are currently on lines 300 metres apart. Phase 2 is a 100-metre step-out from the phase-one holes and will be adjusted based on the phase-one results. Drilling has already commenced on phase one of this additional campaign using the two RC rigs already on site. Mine development Endeavour is also pleased to announce that Senet, a South African engineering company, has been engaged to update the Agbaou project in support of development studies. Qualified person K. Kirk Woodman, PGeo, head of exploration, is the qualified person overseeing Endeavour's exploration projects in West Africa and has reviewed and approved this news release. All sample preparations and standard 50-gram gold fire assays were performed by Bureau Veritas Laboratories, Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire. Endeavour consistently employs a rigorous quality control and assurance program comprising regular insertion of certified reference standards, blanks and duplicates.
