I thought maybe you'd renamed the town Kelsey moved to. ;)

I've been trying to get up to Tahoe for a year. This time I'm going to do it. It would be nice to meet up but if it doesn't happen, then there will be another time.

That accident I got into is becoming a nightmare. I got a ticket as a result of the accident and have been trying to take care of it since July 20th. The police department didn't get around to submitting the ticket to the court until August 28th - 5 weeks later. The court sends the transmittals out to another company to process so the ticket still isn't in the system. I have a court date on the 23rd and wanted to take care of it before then. I can't get an extension because they have no record of it. I can't pay it or request traffic school because they have no record of it. If it isn't taken care of before the 23rd, it will go to warrant and cost me twice as much.

The girl at the police department said that it now takes twice to three times as long to get things done because of the new automation system. (I had to go to the police station.) Also, you can't get a live person on the line unless you have the ticket number, which, of course, isn't in the system.
