Just hearing that report on NPR (about RP getting booed) this morning indicated to me that the country is in no way, shape, or form ready for somebody to disrupt the status quo, in spite of the enormous data and real world experience most have which illustrate the abject failures in progress. So much for real change...

Ron Paul pointed this out during the Tea Party debates and got booed. Well, I guess he also said that Al Queda was pissed that we have military bases in the Middle East. And that the Iraq War has killed tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians, and is it any wonder they don't like us. So they booed him for that. ___ He should run on the promise that every American will get to win American Idol at least once. I think even i could win on that platform.
