The built a wind farm here in Indiana on a country road that I drive maybe 3 times a year. First time I saw it was at night and I was like WTF because all I saw was lights everywhere up in the sky like a cell phone company went berserk and built 200 towers in the same place. It was totally surreal, alien, unnatural, etc and later I found that it does not look much better in the daytime.

However, I guess it is better than burning crude or coal, but I would be very interested in knowing just how many MILES of these things they are planning on building. Are we going to cover the whole country (that hasn't already been paved) in windmills and solar panels?

I bet the farmers like it. Extra cha-ching for the use of their land and they still get to farm it.
