You are a different breed. That is why I took care to use the term "a majority of the teachers." There are many good teachers I know. I tried to establish a Charter school, but ran into stiff opposition from you know who. The goal of the Charter was to take the 40 percentile and below students, give them some special attention to include funds from not only the State but also Silicon valley funding. And then in the 6th grade return those youngsters to the public school system. Didn't get through because we were not successful in getting the required funds and off course from the Union of teachers who advocate "quality education for our children" I was impressed with Gingrich's reply during the recent debate when he was bold to say he supported Obama's education plan because as he said "the plan supports Charter schools."

What part (percentage), if any, of your annual Teacher Evaluation is based on the percentage of your students passing the standard end of grade test(s)--if you don't mind my asking?
