I believe there are enough people with education degrees who are not employed and enough parents with advanced degrees who do not have jobs outside of their family responsibilities that it wouldn't matter if those teachers who do not speak English well were without a job.

These teachers who are not fluent in English could easily be replaced.

I particularly am concerned that we have teachers at the Elementary School level who can and do speak excellent English. At the high school and university levels students become adept at being in class rooms with professors who are linguistically challenged.

If they can't speak fluent English, they should not be teaching in American public elementary schools.

Dial 1 for Spanish and 2 for English is no longer acceptable. What an insult to the people of Hispanic background who came here and speak fluent English and are now citizens.
