Amarksp, NiMin Energy (NNN.TO) -- See Global Hunter update on NiMin that came out yesterday at

ghsecurities.bluematrix.com

(please advise if bad link).

According to GHS' model this latest $4M that NiMin raised should be enough to get them through, but I believe GHS' production assumptions remain somewhat aggressive given what we've seen so far. They are calling for production to skyrocket 46% this quarter to 1,355 boepd. If that were going to be the result then it would seem that the company would be compelled to issue an ops update sometime very soon since that represents a clearly material change in the company's production. Granted, they began the quarter at 1,200 boepd so from that perspective 1,355 bopd for the quarter might not seem too much of a stretch, but we need to keep the base production declines in mind.

I know you look at this stuff pretty closely, so I'm just curious, what do think NiMin will produce for 3Q? If NiMin "only" increases its production by 30% this quarter I hope GHS doesn't downgrade them! <g>
