He [oblameya] will be worse than Carter as an EX-PRES

i have a prediction for you Tide.

i believe that as a nation, we are losing our wealth and getting poorer as a result of socialist policies that raise taxes and increase regulations, (the most recent of them being dudd-fwank).

the result of the nation getting poorer should be lower wages, (which can be hidden by inflation) and fewer total jobs, which can't be hidden. since unemployment is calculated as a 'rate', it's possible for the rate to remain the same or even go down, and still have the total number of jobs decline. nothing moves in a straight line so there could be blips along the way, but the general trend in jobs should be down.

i don't know where to get the information on the total number of jobs. but if it can be checked, i think it will show the downward trend. and the trend should continue as we wander deeper into socialism.

So true - he's both younger and dumber and has no carpentry skills either.

TideGilder, Obama may very well bail out, but he won't describe it as that. He will pretend he could have won but left to do political work outside the restraints of the Oval Office. ;^) He will be worse than Carter as an EX-PRES

But, Worldwide he will make more money as an Ex-President than any past Presidents. And, then when the next President does no better and perhaps worse, within a global market, we will again have another political turnover in the future election.

I just can not see any possible way within globalization that any President can succeed. If there are to many cuts to social services there will be riots on the street nationwide as individuals suffer. Our voting population has no tolerance for pain caused from a low economy and lower standard of living. Those of us parents better be ready to take in our kids families and our parents. However, there is perhaps one solution: Chose another country (enemy) and have another war easily won like Reagan did with Grenada to take the heat off a new President.
