You're welcome, John! I thought it was a good press release, and am glad someone here appreciates it, and my efforts!
Unfortunately, some people don't know the difference between a press release and a news release. I'd like to clarify that here. A news release would be when Target began selling product, or when Walmart did. For big companies, there may be news releases very very often. Smaller companies may not have them so often. The purpose of the press release was to update everyone on what's going on. For instance, many people might not know about some of the contacts overseas. A press release is a summary of news releases, you might say. As this one is. Think of it as a bunch of news releases, all in one shot!
The company put out the press release to sum things up, as a way of communicating with shareholders and in anticipation of future news releases.
If anyone is disappointed in the lack of new news "today", they should consider this is a business. Not a magicians hat trick. (And I suggest people wait until the price is up at $1.50, or whatever, before they buy in. Buy high, etc. Good for those of us who buy low! ..-) ) Of course, given one seldom knows for certain what the low will be, or the high, a more logical way is to spread the buys over time, and sells as well.
Personally, I'm giving high credit to the company for its plans to communicate more with stockholders and make information more accessible, (including a web site) as well as plans to get the fact of the companies existence out to more people. I have to believe that that makes this an optimum time to be buying, since the more people who know about the company and can see what's happening and how it adds up, the more likely the price will go up to a level reflecting what's happening. The price now? We'd all like to buy at a low and then see the stock go up. Which makes us all bottom-fishers. And this stock looks really good for bottom-fishers!
