In any case I really don't care what life styles people choose to live I just don't think it should be promoted/taught to kids in schools or there should not be open homosexual pride days and parades celebrating that life style. That makes them more equal with special rights. I'm maybe just to old. :-) i agree with this 100%. Should there be a Heterosexual Pride Parade? If not, then there should not be a gay pride parade. The idea of a "sexual pride parade" is absurd!!!! But then again, I think things like Black Student Unions and Congressional Black Caucus are racist by definition too. (substitute the word "white" and it becomes clear). And to change the topic a little bit.....the whole gays in the military thing. Am I the only one who remembers the song "In the Navy" by The Village People? (70s gay oriented disco group). It was pretty common knowledge that the Navy had a high gay population. (My Dad was in the Navy and isn't gay, so I'm not implying that everyone was). But where it may not have been openly sanctioned, it certainly wasn't a secret that there have been gays in the military for a pretty damned long time. I think that the issue right now is that the non-combat military jobs are being seen as cherry job opportunities that gays shouldn't be excluded from. In other words, they are seen as entitlement positions.

Children are taught and can be taught by example. Children can be taught through social pressure. Children can be taught directly. Children in the 21st Century are being medicated, drugged, to control their behavior in school and out of school------while some are controlled through hypnosis techniques. Scientifically, just like global warming, there is no definitive answer to the question of whether or not some people are born gay or whether it is a learned behavior. The gay population makes up according to what I have read about 1% of the population------so why are we letting our society be controlled by a minority?
