No, it will take much less to see if you are correct. I think
we pretty much know the market is there. The reason selling
was slow this year was the miscalculation (me included) that
companies would buy from a small startup without support from
well-known channels. That has to a large extent been taken
care of (except I think there are more partners to come),
thus the earlier slow sales cannot be used as guide. Please
note, that DR says that the direct sales continue to
disappoint, and that the indirect sales do not.

>>>"RACE's direct marketing efforts .... "

Ben & a crew of four? Sure, that would have expanded to meet the demand but at the time I don't think the type of corporates they were concentrating on had much interest in making major purchases of networking equipment on the word of a small company. Granted - Ben's credentials are quite good and he has a lot of friends but these people wanted to see some signs that the technology was going to turn out to be more than a flash in the pan.

Incidentally, the number of servers sold may not be as important as who is buying them - and why.

Drakes, Keep on Dreaming that only DR's 5 man sales force is selling BT, per your quote "If there was a real need for the product and a ready market for it I think RACE's direct marketing efforts would have been more successful."

Wake up, there is potential for that 5 number to multiply by 400 or so................................
