Mike: Hey you're on AOL, doesn't e-mail take 8 hours? LOL. Ain't it great that AOL is so ingrained in the fabric of the country that yesterday's outage was considered newsworthy? Comes with having critical mass I guess. We've been talking off and on about shorting AOL, I guess since KJ mentioned it. Here are some interesting numbers for you. Say you'd been lucky enough to short AOL at it high for the year (91.0625 on 10/22) and you also decided to short RACE that day. You were lucky, got a short off at the high tick there as well (7.75). Which has been the better short since then? As of today's close you'd be sitting on a gain of 19.35% on your AOL short but you'd be looking at a 37.09% gain on your RACE short position.
