With the exception of 2009, A-Rod has done squat in the postseason. Texiera has been a bust in the postseason too. Swisher will not be back. What kind of raise , if any, does CC get? Do the Yankees let him walk? I went to games 1 and 2 of the ALDS with my sons and had a very good time. I bought the tickets on Stub Hub at the last minute for a very nice discount. I love the game of baseball. But I don't get caught up emotionally with the players because, to be honest, very few, if any of them are philosophical, or have a critical inquiring mind. As you know, as far as I'm concerned, baseball can take "God Bless America" and the National Anthem and shove it up Goldman's Arse. My favorite baseball book was Ball Four by Jim Bouton. II didn't lose any sleep over the Yankee loss - though I wanted them to win so I could go to a few ALCS games.
