Can't you just make the Ignores column sortable? Though it would be fun to have a contest in advance to guess the highest number of Ignores and the worst ratio to Peoplemarks. Wouldn't be hard.

Hall of Shame...people who have more Ignores than PeopleMarks.

Really don't think much of that idea.

Course I would probably be the charter member.

Problem is a lot of ignores occur if you can effectively argue a position that some folks disagree with.

F'er instance, I would wager that 75% or more of my 68 iggys are from geniuses who ascribe to Tea Party positions and/or voted for George Bush........... twice.

Folks hate to be reminded of that stuff.

Just my opinion:

The problem with being "shamed" because of "ignores" is that sometimes people come here who had vendettas or personal dislikes and click on "ignore" just to make a point.

That would have nothing to do with the quality of your posts, rather, it very likely would be because of the subject of your posts.

.

Glad to see Claude Cormier at the top of the Top PeopleMarks list. He is the reason I came to SI from the now defunct CompuServe's Investors Forum in the first place.

A new inductee every month or so to honor the best and brightest of SI, whether they are still active, deceased, or missing in action. A subject would be created for people to submit nominations.

Love it.
