Tournament update : I had the opportunity to be in 3rd after day1 but lost a 5+lber. It made two strong runs that's when I knew I had a big one my mistake was turning it instead of walking it around toward the back of the boat where my co-angler was,I thought it was hooked better and I owned her. Now I'm sitting just outside the 50 cut for Nationals by ounces instead. I can move up today but but probably be out of the money unless I get a very large bag, it's possible I got something figured out it's fishing you never know if I was in contention I would have had a chance at the win I should make the cut today with only three fish but I need a big 5 bass limit over 12# that's what's leading it's fishing tough
