Conflicts between religions arise from incongruent philosophical presuppositions. These differences are irreconcilable; and debating the “right and wrong” of such precepts, is futile. For example, near total philosophical incompatibility explains the perpetual confrontations between Islam and all other religions. Nevertheless it is important to recall that every religion, and sub-set of that religion, believe only they poses “the real secret” and that all other sects and/or religions are wrong. The same holds true for the LDS faith. Commentaries concerning it's merits and flaws are purely subjective, faith based, and unprovable.
